It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, and I’m feeling good. On this week’s episode, I bring in my guest, Brett, and we discuss new beginnings. As newly singletons, it’s fun and exciting to be out there and meet new people. For example, take being on a school campus as a freshman. Everything’s new, everything is exciting and people are definitely nice to look at. We discuss what it’s like to approach people and how social media comes into play when we interact with others.
It’s always hard to put yourself out there, especially for us shyer folk. But you know what, sometimes we just gotta go for it. Take the opportunity of a new environment and the fact that nobody really knows you and be confident in yourself! We always want to appear as the best version of ourselves, so why not say hello to the next person you sit down next to? We are social creatures and even if you get rejected or the person doesn’t respond to you, just move onto the next. Obviously easier said than done, but I guarantee you, it’ll help with your confidence and bust you out of that cocoon and you’ll emerge a beautiful butterfly…or whatever.
