“The Law of “Fuck Yes or No” states that when you want to get involved with someone new, in whatever capacity, they must inspire you to say “Fuck Yes” in order for you to proceed with them.
The Law of “Fuck Yes or No” also states that when you want to get involved with someone new, in whatever capacity, THEY must respond with a “Fuck Yes” in order for you to proceed with them.” – Mark Manson, from Fuck Yes or No
On this episode, I bring in my guest, Toan, to reflect on all of his past relationships and how this law (as stated above) has come into play in each one. He’s been through a lot of ups and downs, highs and lows, and he is able to offer a lot of insight. One in particular, is Mark Manson’s idea of someone either being a fuck yes or a fuck no.
An often too common feeling is being unsure of how someone feels about you. So naturally you become insecure and doubtful of whether or not you are good enough for them. But why do WE have to be the ones to feel unsure of ourselves, when really, it’s the other person who can’t make up their minds? And in that case, if they are unsure of whether not they want to be with you, then to quote Beyonce, “Tell him, boy BYE.” But seriously, why be with someone who doesn’t know if they want to be with you? Respect yourself enough to know that, you deserve to be with someone who is all in for you.
Special thanks to Toan for sharing with us his stories and opening up about his relationship woes. And most importantly for introducing the Law of Fuck Yes or Fuck No to Where’s The Chase?
